Born in Denver, Colorado on July 25, 1939.  Her parents were Charles Joseph and Mildred O'Connor. She had two sisters, Jean and Fran and one brother, Fred. Charlotte went to school in Rolla Missouri and remained friends with many of her classmates until her passing.  She was active in basketball and many other sports. 

1965:  She moved to Del Rio and she met and married our dad, Ted Luce . Charlotte had two daughters, Denise and Brenda and two sons, Jeff and Scott.   Charlotte lived a very active life.  She was an accomplished tennis player and bowler.  She earned many awards in these sports. Charlotte and Ted loved to dance and danced many miles during the years!  

Charlotte was a great friend, a wonderful sister, a beloved mother and grandmother and a devoted wife. 

Charlotte was diagnosed with Lung Cancer in November 2006.  She fought this horrible disease all the way until the end.  The day she was diagnosed, she tried to go alone to the doctor.  Brenda and I showed up unannounced.  We were asked to wait in the waiting room.  When mom and dad came out...we knew the diagnosis just by the look on dad's face. Three days before her death, she still told her family she was going to get well.  She was a fighter!  She lived 9 months after her diagnosis, she was only given 7 months to live.   

Charlotte Luce lost her battle with cancer with her husband and children by her side.  She left our world on August 13, 2007 at the age of 68.  Life as we knew it has changed and it will never be the same!  Rest in Peace mom!  Gosh, we miss you so much !
